Sadly there is no Festival of Flight in 2020, however the good news is that Biggin Hill will be commemorating the Battle of Britain and ‘The Hardest Day’ on it’s 80th Anniversary. This may mean no car show but there is still some amazing sights and action in the air and on the ground… so don’t miss out!
2019 offered all the excitement of previous airshow weekends with the added benefit of the biggest car show to ever take place at Biggin Hill. Having completed our 5th year we’re delighted to have worked so closely with the airshow to achieve something special. With the aim to return in 2021 with more wheeled action than ever before whilst the wings in the air continue to inspire and entertain.
This amazing weekend takes place at the scene of one of the world’s most famous battlefields – the skies above Biggin Hill.
We often get asked “Why are you charging me to show my car at the show? Other shows are free”
We can answer that simply! The amazing team at Biggin Hill Festival of Flight allow us, a group of car lovers to put on this show during the weekend and want us to ensure we help the local community by raising money for some amazing charities. So your entry fee is actually a charitable donation that goes to help the local community.
Our primary focus is on the emergency services, organisations that as motoring enthusiasts, we hope we’ll never need. But they still need support and attention. But we also work with many other groups to ensure we can do as much as possible with the money. Thank you in advance for your donations in 2019.
The Biggin Hill Car Show at the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight is a relatively new event on the motoring calendar but has grown year on year and for the second time, in 2019 we’re delighted to be welcoming car clubs too!
We donated £750 to the Brooklands Museum in 2018.
We donated £1120 to the Dame Vera Lynn Childrens Charity in 2017.
“My son and I had such a wonderful time on The Roundel Run. We stocked our car up with snacks and drinks and loved and laughed every mile of the tour in the company of like minded car fans and enthusiasts. It was really special to be able to drive the Saab 96 I restored on series two For the Love of cars. A proper chariot for a proper event. Look forward to next years blast” Ant Anstead

Besides the 2019 Biggin Hill Car Show at the Biggin Hill Festival of Flight, there is always a huge amount of other displays, activities, games, rides and stalls to engage young and old. There will be something for all ages from Tea Cups to Bumper Cars and some that make the aerobatic aircraft a better option on the stomach.
The same family fair has been attending air shows at Biggin Hill since 1963, the first civil air show at Biggin Hill.
Food stalls are available but many of the car owners bring their deck chairs and a picnic and enjoy one of the best days out in the aviation calendar. And best of all as a car show entrant, your ticket price is going to some amazing charities!
